Gearing up for the New England Fiber Festival

I’ve been dying like crazy for the festival. My friend Karen has a booth and she offered to take some of my yarn. I haven’t dyed in a while. Here’s some of my beauties…

These next ones are my favorite… Be sure to check out my Etsy next week when I’m done with the show. Honestly, I’m so busy I probably won’t have time to list my new yarns until then.

On a side note the weather in NH this Fall has been beautiful, and this week’s temperatures are perfect for drying yarn outside in the fresh air, and the cold mornings are perfect for hand knit socks. The outdoor Farmers Market ended last week which always makes me sad. I just love having flowers around my home and office, I usually buy them on Saturdays at the market.

The socks are called Spring Forward. (here’s the link), it’s a free pattern from Knitty. They’re super easy and fun to knit. I’ll leave you with a recent sunset over our barn and some fun fall leaves with my favorite sneaks.
